Tomb 16EN. Tomb of Numerius Alleius Auctus and eight others

Nine columelle were found. Six were identified as for a male and three for a female.

Only one columella of marble had an inscription on it

Tomb 18EN. Unidentified tomb or ustrinum or unused tomb

Pompeii Porta Nocera. May 2006. Tomb 18EN, looking north. This tomb had no finds and no columelle to suggest a name.

According to De Caro, the absence of columelle cast doubt on its function as a tomb.

It may be a ustrinum (site of funeral pyre) or a tomb not yet used.

The tetrapylon consists of four columns each one made up of four columns with capitals.

It is of a type normally found in Syria and Africa.

In this gap were found two columelle, one male and one female. Neither had an inscription.
